Notice and Disclosure
This Web site does not collect personally identifiable information from your computer when you browse this Web site or request pages from our servers. This means that, unless you voluntarily and knowingly provide us with personally identifiable information, we will not know your name, your e-mail address, or any other personally identifiable information. Design Ideas® only collects personally identifiable information online from forms that you choose to complete. Design Ideas® identifies how it will use the collected information at the point of collection.

We do not require anyone to share any personal information about themselves in order to enjoy our Web site. That means that you can visit our Web site without any need to register with us. Registration can enable you to participate in certain activities or events on the site, however. For instance, Decorate with GelGems® allows you to create and save a design on our server and to edit it later, and our Catalog allows you to create a wish list and to add or delete items from that list.

If you choose to register with the Web site, then, during registration, Design Ideas® will ask for information such as your name, address, e-mail address, birth date, gender, zip code and country, and optional information regarding, for example, how you learned about a particular Design Ideas® product. We may ask you to provide similar information at other times, such as when you enter a sweepstakes or participate in a promotion on the Web site. If you register in a sweepstakes or contest, you may be required to provide information such as your e-mail address in order to participate and we will use the information to notify potential winners. If you register with the Web site and indicate you would also like to receive e-mail news from us, then we may send you news on GelGems® and other Design Ideas® products. If at any time you wish to stop receiving such updates and information from us, you may e-mail us at GelGems@designid.com. As described below, our e-mails to you will also include information on how to request not to receive such information in future.

Design Ideas® uses “cookies” – a small file saved on your computer’s hard drive – only on the login page when registered users click the check box to “Remember me on my next visit.” If you register with the Web site and select this option, a cookie will be written to your computer hard drive containing your e-mail address and GelGems® password and the next time you visit the Web site, the e-mail and password boxes will contain the information in the cookie. Design Ideas® does not otherwise use cookies or other tracking mechanisms to collect other personally or non-personally identifiable information passively as you navigate the Web site.

Children’s Online Privacy Protection
At this time, Design Ideas® does not permit anyone under the age of 13 to register with the Web site. Children under the age of 13 should always get their parent or guardian’s permission before providing their e-mail address or any personal information online. Parents are advised to monitor and participate in their children’s online activities and to use parental control to supervise their children’s access to the Internet.
